Training is important to ensure competent and safe operation of equipment.

• Training provides:

  • opportunity for new or better employment.
  • information required to qualify for ministry certification and licensing
  • a stepping stone to a higher level of licensing.
  • demonstration and information concerning safe working and operating practices on construction and industrial sites.
  • proof of "due diligence" for the employer as required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and Bill C-45
  • employees who are "competent workers" as defined by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and Bill C-45
